LIBBIE & HENRY
Meow, Meow, I am Libbie, and this is my "other half", Henry. We are a senior feline "married couple" who have found ourselves homeless through no fault of our own! We have been together for most of my 9 years (Henry is 12), and our friends at SCHS are trying to keep us together for the rest of our lives. Isn't that sweet of them? I don't know how I'd get on without my Henry -- or he, without me.
Henry and I are comfortably large cats, great company for long afternoons dozing in the sun or evenings watching TV. Henry is much more out-going than I am -- I tend to be a bit more shy and demure, whilst Henry likes to hog attention.
That's a bit of a problem for me here at the shelter, because everyone seems to be in a hurry and doesn't want to take the time to get to know a body. Think about it this way -- how would you feel if folks you'd never even met just came right up and tried to put their hands all over you?
Not that I don't like a good pet myself -- I just like to take a couple of minutes to get to know the petter first!
Henry and I are both healthy, "altered," and up on our shots, so that's a real Plus. We would be a bargain at any price, but, as adult cats, we are eligible for the reduced adoption fee during the Can't Buy Me Love Cat Adoption Event.
